Workmanship warranty
We guarantee our workmanship for one year from the completion date. Materials are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. This does not cover normal wear, misuse, or work done by others.
Permits
We pull the permits this work requires. Permit fees are billed at cost unless they are already included in the price above.
Cancellation
Either side can cancel in writing before work starts. If you cancel after we have ordered materials or started work, you cover the cost of the work done and the materials bought up to that point.
Dispute resolution
If something goes wrong, both sides agree to talk it through in good faith first. If that does not settle it, we will use mediation before going to court.

Common questions

Is the pest control contract template free?
Yes. Fill it out and download it as a Word file or PDF. No signup, no watermark. Most pest control agreements you find online are behind a trade association login, sold as printed form pads, or images you cannot edit.
Does the warranty wording work for pest control?
The warranty box comes filled in with a one-year workmanship warranty, which is written for construction work and is the wrong promise for pest control. Replace it with your own re-service terms: how long the guarantee runs after a treatment, and that you come back free inside that window. Thirty days is a common window, but pick yours and write it in.
What goes in the scope and the not included boxes?
Scope is the pests you are treating and how often you visit. The "Not included" box is the more important one, and it is where most disputes are avoided: name the pests you do not handle. Wildlife, birds and bats are commonly excluded. Termite and other wood-destroying organism work is usually sold as its own agreement, so if you are not covering it here, say so in that box, because the scope arrives with termite treatment already in it.
Should my license number be on the contract?
Put it on. There is a license line under your business details and it prints on the finished document. Almost none of the free pest control templates online have a field for it, and states expect the person applying pesticides to be certified for the work. It is also the cheapest trust signal you have against a cheaper unlicensed bid.
Where do I put the prep instructions and the products I use?
The materials box is the place for the products and the application method. What the customer has to do before you arrive, and how long people and pets stay out afterwards, fits at the end of the scope box. Both are worth writing down, because a treatment that failed because nobody cleared the kitchen is an argument you do not want to have from memory.
Is this legal advice?
No. This is a starting template, not legal advice. Pesticide rules and contract rules are set state by state, so have a lawyer in your state review your terms before you use them at scale.
